BIO-SAKURA Line-up

BIO-SAKURA is composed of 100 % nature biomass derived resin materials.  They do not contain any petroleum based material (Precisely, Green Science Alliance Co., Ltd. have nano cellulose + petroleum based plastic composite for industrial purpose, for individual customer, we only supply 100 % nature biomass resin grade).  At the moment, we have composite material with nano cellulose, various type of biomass base recycle material (waste wood, plant, bamboo, cassava waste, bagasse, sugarcane leaf waste, waste paper, rice waste, cereal waste etc…  In addition, we have starch based biodegradable resin, cellulose based biodegradable resin (made from cellulose which in non-edible).

We are aggressively focusing on this material at the moment.  So far biodegradable resin such as PLA, PHA (poly hydroxy alkanoate), starch based biodegradable resin, PBS (poly butylene succinate), PBAT (poly butylene adipate terephtharate) etc… have been supplied in the market although they are made from partly petroleum or edible biomass which also can be nutritious food for human beings.  This will be a problem since human population explosion may be one of the problems in the near future.   On the other hand, cellulose is non edible biomass resource and most abundant organic resource on earth.  Cellulose can be taken from all of plant including wood, waste wood, weed, root etc… The amount of cellulose is huge and it is more than the amount of petroleum.  We have made biodegradable resin from this cellulose.  It is basically thermoplastic cellulose.  Not to mention this material is also composed of 100 % nature biomass.  It should noted that even this material is expanded and supplied in huge quantity in the world market, it is not necessary to cut down new trees because they can be basically made from waste wood.  Therefore, we believe that this cellulose based biodegradable resin is most environmentally friendly biodegradable resin material. 
In general, it is very difficult to manufacture molding products in the mass production level with biodegradable resin, when compared to petroleum based plastic.  However, we have made 100% nature biomass based biodegradable resin which can enable user to manufacture molding products in a mass production level with normal injection and blow molding machines.
